City to open Storm Shelter on Wednesday March 17, 2021

The city of Bessemer will open its Emergency Storm Shelter, 651 9th Avenue SW, to the public beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday due to the threat of inclement weather.
Forecasters are predicting a moderate risk of severe weather across Alabama on Wednesday, with the possibility of heavy rains, strong winds and possible tornadoes.
