The city of Bessemer would like the input of residents, service providers, business owners and other interest as it develops its Five-Year Plan under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, administered through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Program funds can be used on a variety of activities benefitting low-to-moderate income individuals and their communities including infrastructure projects, economic development activities, housing rehabilitation, code enforcement, homeowner assistance and much more.
